The 55240 core has a compact size, with an outer diameter of only 6.60 mm and an inner diameter of 2.67 mm. Due to the limited winding space, this type of core requires delicate handling, precise winding control, and experienced workmanship.

For applications with such tight spacing, automation may not always be the most practical solution. It can require significant investment in specialized winding equipment, and the setup time can become much longer, especially when working with two different wire colors in such a small space.
